"Punjab is one of the prominent northern agrarian states of India. Out of total 5.03 m hact. geographical area, 4.23 m hact. is under cultivation. About 75% of its population depends directly in agriculture. Wheat, Rice, Cotton are the major crops grown in Punjab. To honor the hard work of famers of the state, we have named our farm on the name of State. Established in 1992, Punjab Heaven Farms deals in production of Rice, Wheat and Mustard. In addition to this, we are also involved in rearing of honeybees. Besides honey and pollen collection, we also deal in rearing of queen bees."
Wheat: Wheat is a major cereal crop of Punjab. Wheat is a cool season crop. First fortnight of November is the optimum sowing time of wheat crop. Average yield of wheat is 42.16 quintals per hectare.
Rice: Rice, a Kharif crop, is best suited to regions of high temperature, high humidity, prolonged sunshine and assured water-supply. Rice is sown in June. Its’ average paddy yield is 15.0 quintals per acre.
Mustard: Mustard is a Rabi crop. Its average yield is 16 quintals per hectare. its oil is used for culinary purpose. Young leaves are used for vegetable purpose.
Honeybees: Apiculture is the scientific method of rearing honeybees, also called beekeeping. Bees play an important role in pollinating flowering plants and are the major type of pollinator in many ecosystems that contain flowering plants.
Honey is a natural food item produced by honeybees. Honey is composed mostly of the sugar’s glucose and fructose. Honey has a content of 80–85% carbohydrates, 15–17% water, 0.3% proteins, 0.2% ashes and minor quantities of amino-acids, phenols, pigments and vitamins.
Bee Pollen : Bee pollen is flower pollen that's collected by worker bees, mixed with nectar and bee saliva, and then packed into honeycomb cells in the hive. Bee pollen contains vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, lipids, and protein.
Queen Bee : A queen bee is typically only female with fully developed ovaries, which is capable of laying eggs. Queen is the largest of the bees in a honeybee colony, measuring around 2cm.
